WATCH & READ - Sneetches (Part 2) Class Presentation (Google Slides)
Students in class will be split into two groups. The groups will read responsively with each half reading the red or blue section. As they read they will watch for what makes this a children’s story. After reading students will look at elements that are present in children’s literature.

- As a group go over the template and make sure the whole group understands the content and concept.

- Apply your groups newly modified checklist to the children’s book we read as a class.
- This should be discussed as a small group.
- Each student will hand in their own checklist via Google Classrooms.

- Apply your 2nd checklist to this children’s book.

WE SHARE
Publish
Students will publish each of their Children’s Literature checklists. They may use Google Docs, Google Slides or the platform of their choice. They will send the digital copy, URL or link to their teacher.
Presenting
Students will present and share at least one of their Children’s Literature checklists with the other students. Each student will have the chance to explain why they checked the items they did and go over the details with at least one other person.
